Attend a Commission Meeting
Monthly Commission meetings are open to the public. The Tentative Agenda is set approximately 3 weeks before each meeting. The Final Agenda is available on the Monday prior to the meeting. No registration is required to attend, but you must sign up in advance to speak. See Speaker Guidelines for additional information.
Take Part in Planning
Let us know what you think about plans and studies while they are in their formative stages. NCPC hosts many public meetings each year at our offices and other local venues. Announcements are posted under Upcoming Events.
NCPC encourages the public to submit written comments on drafts of our initiatives as well as any project under review by the Commission.
At Public Comment Opportunities, you can:
- View announcements of official public comment periods
- Download draft plans & studies
- Download documents related to environmental review and historic preservation consultation processes
- Learn more about the public comment process
Please contact us to obtain documents related to plan and project review, including submission materials.
Note: All public notices, comment opportunities, and events are posted on our website and announced in monthly E-newsletters and Tentative Agendas.
Invite a Planner to Your Community
Our planners participate in local community fairs, public forums, career days, and meetings of neighborhood groups. If you would like someone from NCPC to speak about any aspect of federal planning for the region at your upcoming event, please contact us.
